The band foundress Markéta Muzikářová reached the idea of founding a band, which would use classical string instruments in an electric form and combine classical and modern music, in years 2002-2003 when she were taking part with her classical string quartet HarmOny in the tour Rýmování o životě (Rhyming about Life) (Lucie Bílá, Hana Hegerová, Jaromír Nohavica etc.). She met also Petr Malásek here, and under the impression of cooperation with his band she began to consider modernization of her quartet.
Markéta met a lot of excellent musicians on her way to the contemporary band INFLAGRANTI, and above all she is appreciating professional help and advice from the composer Petr Malásek and producer Michal David.
Markéta Muzikářová founded the INFLAGRANTI band in 2004. The band published the first single in the spring of 2005 and a debut album ROCKMANTICA followed in June, all this with the editorial company Universal Music. The band - modern string trio - plays in formation of Markéta Muzikářová (violin), Kateřina Lískovcová (violin) and Sylva Jablonská (violoncello).
The INFLAGRANTI members introduced their recordings in several primetime TV programmes Pomozte dětem, Ceny TýTý, Zlatá hokejka, Kapka naděje, Miss Junior, Auto roku, Abeceda hvězd etc.). They appeared on significant concert platforms such as Prague - O2 aréna (O2 Arena), Sazka Aréna (Sazka Arena), Průmyslový palác (Industrial Palace), Lucerna, Obecní dům (Municipal House), Veletržní palác (Fair Palace), Brno - Bobby centrum (Bobby Centre), Fairground, Liberec - Tip Sport aréna (Tip Sport Arena) etc.
A new album named INFLAGRANTI MUSIC (published in February/March of 2009), in the order it is the second one, was recorded in the studio of prominent Czech producer Ondřej Soukup. On the novelty you can find an impressive string version of the legendary hit of the Europe band - The Final Countdown (video clip will also occur to it) or powerful „techno" arrangement of Offenbac´s Czardas which were already successfully presented by the band at the concerts and in direct telecasts (Zlatá hokejka 2008, Kapka naděje 2008). There are further e.g. pieces of Bizet, Bach, Beethoven, Dvořák, Smetana and Čajkovský and evergreens from the repertoire of T. Turner, B. Tyler or the Abba, Beatles and Deep Purple band among modern arrangements of famous melodies.
